Because every individual’s needs are different, we require a tour and assessment before enrollment to ensure our program is a good fit for each participant.

Do you accept Medicaid or other insurance?

Accepted Answer

At this time, we do not accept Medicaid. We accept private pay and may accept clients through the Respite Care Voucher Program if funding and space are available. Please reach out to check on current availability.

Who is eligible for the Voucher Program?

To qualify for the Waiver Voucher Program:
Adult family members or informal caregivers aged 18 and older who provide care to: 
- Individuals aged 60 years and older 
- Individuals of any age with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders 
- Older relatives (age 55 and older) caring for adults (ages 18-59) with disabilities 
- Proof of age is required for both the caregiver and care recipient (e.g., state-issued ID, driver’s license, birth certificate, or passport). 
- Proof of address (in the caregiver’s name) is necessary (e.g., recent utility bill for electric, gas, water, sanitation). 
- Caregiver and recipient must reside in the 10-County Metro Atlanta Region (Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Rockdale), but  they are not required to live together. 
- Both caregiver and care recipient must be American Citizens.

What safety measures are in place at the center?

Our facility is secure and our team is trained in first aid, infection control, and emergency response. We clean and sanitize daily and monitor participant wellness regularly.

Do you care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Caldore Acres welcomes individuals with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Our program is designed to provide a calm, engaging, and supportive environment where participants can feel comfortable and safe throughout the day.
